Welcome to the hotel Idea. We’re located outside the city gates of Zurich and on an ideal site in terms of (public) transport connections. Thanks to a modern Minergie standard, all our 38 rooms and 17 apartments are calm and comfortable and offer additional conveniences. Furthermore, each room and apartment has its own balcony or terrace. Our self-service check-in facility makes a check-in outside business hours comfortable and simple.

Thanks to its excellent location, the hotel Idea is only 25min away from the airport Zurich or 15km away from the city of Zurich. Our direct neighbors are the furniture store IKEA, the Umwelt Arena (world’s first exhibition and platform for a modern, ecofriendly lifestyle) and Switzerland’s biggest shopping mall, the Shoppi Tivoli.
We’re easily accessible by car or public transport. The hotel is located directly adjacent to the furniture store IKEA.
